Last night saw pianist, band­leader, singer, com­pos­er, tele­vi­sion pre­sen­ter and music afi­ciona­do Jools Hol­land take to the stage at Bois­dale of Canary Wharf to present The Bois­dale Music Awards, a cel­e­bra­tion of some of the great­est enter­tain­ers in the world of jazz, blues and soul.

The night was launched with a bril­liant per­for­mance by Ferne McCann whilst win­ners treat­ed guests to a unique impromp­tu recital accom­pa­nied by fan­tas­tic food and drink – includ­ing Tait­tinger cham­pagne on arrival, fol­lowed by an opu­lent three-course meal fea­tur­ing, amongst oth­ers, Bois­dale sig­na­ture dish­es of Mini roast Black­face hag­gis, Carpac­cio of Scot­tish wild veni­son, roast fil­let of dry aged Aberdeen­shire and fil­let of High­land salmon.
