The Boisdale Music Awards 2016
Jools Holland, Boisdale's Patron of Music
September 29 2016
Last night saw pianist, bandleader, singer, composer, television presenter and music aficionado Jools Holland take to the stage at Boisdale of Canary Wharf to present The Boisdale Music Awards, a celebration of some of the greatest entertainers in the world of jazz, blues and soul.
The night was launched with a brilliant performance by Ferne McCann whilst winners treated guests to a unique impromptu recital accompanied by fantastic food and drink – including Taittinger champagne on arrival, followed by an opulent three-course meal featuring, amongst others, Boisdale signature dishes of Mini roast Blackface haggis, Carpaccio of Scottish wild venison, roast fillet of dry aged Aberdeenshire and fillet of Highland salmon.
