The ‘longest Conga On Ice’ World Record Attempt

Ice Rink Canary Wharf in asso­ci­a­tion with Tre­sor Paris invites you to par­tic­i­pate in the Longest Con­ga on Ice’ world record attempt to help us raise mon­ey for the BBC Chil­dren in Need Appeal.

Reg­is­tra­tion is free so secure your place in the record books by par­tic­i­pat­ing in the 300 strong ice-skat­ing con­ga line which will wrap around our spec­tac­u­lar ice rink and London’s only skate path.

This is a spe­cial event with all pro­ceeds going direct­ly to the BBC Chil­dren in Need Appeal.

Tues­day 12th of Novem­ber 2013
6pm — 6.30pm Registration
(Sug­gest­ed dona­tion of £5 on the night)
6.45pm On-ice tips from our expert skate coach
7.15pm Record attempt
7.30 Free skate

All par­tic­i­pants will receive a Tre­sor Paris ted­dy bear to take home on the night, a post event cer­tifi­cate for tak­ing part and a tick­et for a return skate. BBC Chil­dren in Need will also be in atten­dance on the night to film the con­ga for the live show.

A num­ber of fan­tas­tic prizes will be raf­fled on the evening to help sup­port the fundrais­ing for BBC Chil­dren in Need includ­ing a three month Reebok Sports Club mem­ber­ship, a com­pli­men­ta­ry meal for two at the Mar­riott Man­hat­tan Grill Restau­rant, two pairs skates from the Lon­don Skate Cen­tre and exclu­sive jew­ellery from Tre­sor Paris.

Live music can be enjoyed free of charge after the con­ga in Boisdale’s Juke­box Bar at the rink.

RSVP by Mon­day the 11th of Novem­ber for this once in a life­time oppor­tu­ni­ty. Our rec­om­mend­ed dona­tion to BBC Chil­dren in Need is £5 payable on the night. All chil­dren must be accom­pa­nied by an adult.

Tre­sor Paris will also be donat­ing jew­ellery and will auc­tion off a pair of one-off crys­tallised skates which are cur­rent­ly proud­ly dis­played in their on-site pop-up shop.
