Uk Youth Event At Boisdale Of Canary Wharf Generates £37,000 For The Charity

Roy­al High­ness Prince Michael of Kent and Nigel Mansell CBE went home hap­py after host­ing a UK Youth fundrais­ing din­ner at Bois­dale restau­rant in Canary Wharf on Mon­day 11 June. One hun­dred and thir­ty guests were treat­ed to a cham­pagne Per­ri­er-Jouët & canapé recep­tion and a sump­tu­ous three-course din­ner, cre­at­ed for the occa­sion by the Miche­lin trained exec­u­tive head chef Andy Rose and com­ple­ment­ed by delec­table and renowned wines from Jus­teri­ni & Brooks at an event that was also the cur­tain-rais­er to Motor Expo, the biggest free to enter motor show in the country.

Peter Arney from clas­sic car spe­cial­ists H&H over­saw a great live auc­tion that gen­er­at­ed over 37,000 for the char­i­ty. As well as hear­ing from Nigel Mansell, the UK Youth Pres­i­dent, guests also lis­tened to Chair­man Bill Crothers and Chief Exec­u­tive Char­lotte Hill. It’s been a bril­liant night and great to see so many sup­port­ers of our work in the room togeth­er. We have raised a real­ly sig­nif­i­cant sum of mon­ey that will help us con­tin­ue with our work. Thanks so much to every­one involved.”

Indi­vid­ual guests min­gled with cor­po­rate sup­port­ers from Accen­ture, Fujit­su, HSBC, Ser­co and UPS. City AM and the Bois­dale team also offered pro­mo­tion­al and finan­cial support.
