The beginning of the Christmas extravagance dates back to the 13th century when Henry III had six hundred oxen killed and prepared for a single feast. Although we can’t quite match this amazing fête at Boisdale, we do like to keep the tradition of sumptuous feasting and wonderful Christmas customs alive.
Throughout December Boisdale of Belgravia, Bishopsgate, Canary Wharf and Mayfair will be offering traditional Christmas supper menus complete with malt whisky cocktails, haggis, game in season and Christmas pudding.
