On Thursday 20th August grouse fans are set to flock to Boisdale of Belgravia, London’s greatest Highland haunt, to celebrate the Glorious Twelfth — the start of the grouse season and the highlight of the game gourmet calendar. This year the British restaurant with Scottish roots will spoil game connoisseurs with six ways to enjoy their favourite ground-nesting bird of the heather moorlands, unique to the UK.
The grouse will be offered roasted with all the trimmings, namely: game chips, bread sauce, game crumbs, grouse liver pâté croûton, watercress, redcurrant jelly & gravy perfectly accompanied by a glass of totally delicious Terrazas de los Andes Reserva Malbec 2016, Mendonza, Argentina for just £29.50 or as a stunning five course grouse tasting menu for an incredible £59.50.

The dishes will be available to taste from Thursday 20th August until the end of October. Terrazas de los Andes Reserva Malbec 2016, Mendonza, Argentina which normally sells for £39.00 a bottle, is Boisdale’s undisputed favourite Malbec and perfectly matches the complex rich and delicate flavours of the young roasted grouse.
