Live Jazz at Boisdale
Boisdale of Belgravia is home to Richard Pite’s Boisdale Blue Rhythm Band
performing live jazz from the '30s, '40s and '50s each evening from Monday to
Saturday between 10.00pm and midnight (Mondays 9.30-11.30pm).
The Boisdale Blue
Rhythm Band is a traditional jam band – the
music is fresh and impromptu – as it always used to be.
The Band forms a quartet or quintet each evening – from
a portfolio of over 100 of Britain’s finest jazz exponents
together with occasional guests from overseas. The music is not
overwhelming but adds a fantastic atmosphere.
After 10.00pm, an optional jazz charge of £3.95 is payable
by non-members who are already on the premises, whilst an admission
charge of £10.00 is payable by non-members arriving after
10.00pm. To find out more about becoming a Member of The Boisdale
Jazz & Cigar Club please click on the link below.
Boisdale of Bishopsgate features
live jazz piano each evening from 6.00-9.00pm in the Cocktail
Bar. Traditional jazz from the
cocktail era of the ‘30s and ‘40s is performed by
a soloist or duet. There is no jazz cover charge.
Boisdale of Bishopsgate has recently been granted a music and
dancing licence and will be extending its jazz listings in June
2004, starting with a from 10.00pm – midnight
each Friday night.
Many of our performances are recorded; please see Boisdale Records
