Nothing exercises a more delightful spell over imagination than mulled wine and a good piece of pork crackling enjoyed outdoors on a crisp November evening.
On Guy Fawkes night The Lamb at Hindon will be restoring the holiday customs and rural games of yesteryear by putting on an impressive firework display and roasting the most handsome pig ever reared on the Stourhead Farm estate.

This crackling event will kick off on the village green at 6pm with a hog-roast, mulled wine and toffee apples whilst the fireworks display will begin at 7pm. Tickets including delicious food and a glass of mulled wine are priced at £7 for adults and £3.50 for children with the proceeds from ticket sales donated to the Hindon Village Church Fund.

Throughout the evening the bar on the green will be stocked with beer, hot chocolate and soft drinks for children.
