The Frescobaldi family began producing Tuscan wine in 1308 and soon developed a notable client base. In exchange for exclusive paintings, the Frescobaldis traded their wine with the Italian Renaissance painter Michelangelo. The family also supplied wine to Henry VIII and have contracts in their family archives signed by the
English King.

One of Italy’s leading producers of quality wines, the family owns the largest expanse of vineyards in Tuscany, with 1000 hectares and nine estates. The properties are all located in areas practically suited to the cultivation of grapes and the production of premium DOCG, DOC and IGT wines. Their wines are currently distributed in over 65 countries.

Carina Falcone of Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi Societŕ Agricola will be hosting the evening and bookings can be made with Pam on 020 7283 1763 (info@boisdale-city.co.uk. 7pm for 7.30pm.
