2012 OLYMPICS AT BOISDALE
Boisdale of Canary Wharf will be offering an array of special group menus for the duration of the 2012 Olympic Games in London as well as extending our usual opening hours. In addition to hours advertised on this website we will be open from 11am until 6pm on the following Sundays - 29 July; 5 August and 12 August.
Boisdale of Canary Wharf is home to four private dining / meeting rooms seating between 8 and 44 guests and equipped with plasma screen televisions where you can relax and enjoy highlights of the day’s sporting action. Furthermore we will be showing all Olympic events on the screens in the Oyster Bar and Grill.
All the menus for groups can be combined during the day therefore offering customers an option to begin the day with e.g. a breakfast meeting in the morning followed by lunch, brunch, dinner or a canapé reception. Additionally, we can offer bespoke hosted whisky, wine, gin, champagne and cigar tastings (held on the fully covered and heated terrace).
Great live music and excellent food are two of life’s supreme pleasures, but rarely are they celebrated together. Boisdale of Canary Wharf’s music programme comes with the seal of approval of no less than Jools Holland, Boisdale’s ‘patron of music’ and is packed with the best in jazz, blues and soul. Highlights have included performances by the likes of eight-time Grammy award winner Chucho Valdes, Manfred Mann, Georgie Fame, Ruby Turner, Chris Barber, Big Boy Bloater, Tony Christie, Albert Lee, Acker Bilk, Buddy Greco, Stephen Triffitt, The Congo Faith Healers, Mitch Winehouse, Mud Morganfield and The Fantastics. Live music performaces can be incorporated into your dining experience at Boisdale.
