UK YOUTH EVENT AT BOISDALE OF CANARY WHARF GENERATES £37,000 FOR THE CHARITY
Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent and Nigel Mansell CBE went home happy after hosting a UK Youth fundraising dinner at Boisdale restaurant in Canary Wharf on Monday 11 June. One hundred and thirty guests were treated to a champagne Perrier-Jouët & canapé reception and a sumptuous three-course dinner, created for the occasion by the Michelin trained executive head chef Andy Rose and complemented by delectable and renowned wines from Justerini & Brooks at an event that was also the curtain-raiser to Motor Expo, the biggest free to enter motor show in the country.
Peter Arney from classic car specialists H&H oversaw a great live auction that generated over 37,000 for the charity. As well as hearing from Nigel Mansell, the UK Youth President, guests also listened to Chairman Bill Crothers and Chief Executive Charlotte Hill. "It's been a brilliant night and great to see so many supporters of our work in the room together. We have raised a really significant sum of money that will help us continue with our work. Thanks so much to everyone involved."
Individual guests mingled with corporate supporters from Accenture, Fujitsu, HSBC, Serco and UPS. City AM and the Boisdale team also offered promotional and financial support.
