Dear Ranald,

This is just to say what an enourmous success George’s 30th celebrations were over the weekend, coupled with the fact that Nick and the Staff looked after us superbly. The dining room looked splendid, food was excellent with fine wines and port. In fact an evening which cannot be faulted! Thank you for everything. The six couples staying were thrilled with everything too, and me had friends staying on the Sunday evening. A huge success.
